A total of <b>17,200 euros<\/b> was raised, which was handed over this Wednesday morning during a small ceremony in the SaarLB customer hall.<\/p>\n\n<p><b><strong>Supported organisations and projects<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n\n<p>The donations were presented to representatives of the German and French institutions present by Katrin Spelz (Head of Human Resources &amp; Corporate Development at SaarLB), Sascha Matheis (Spokesperson for the Management Board of LBS, Landesbausparkasse Saar) and <b>Isabelle M\u00fcller-Poth<\/b> (Deputy Chair of the Staff Council) to the following institutions:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2018Heroes for Hearts\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pr\u00eate-moi tes ailes, Leih mir deine Fl\u00fcgel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Caritasverband f\u00fcr Saarbr\u00fccken und Umgebung e.V.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demenz-Verein im K\u00f6llertal e. Our cooperation with LBS and the staff council shows that joint commitment has a positive impact locally,\u2019 <\/i>says <b>Katrin Spelz, Head of Human Resources &amp; Corporate Development at SaarLB<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n<p><b>Sascha Matheis, spokesperson for the management board of LBS, Landesbausparkasse Saar<\/b>, adds: <i>\u2018Supporting small, dedicated associations has always been very important to us and is a matter close to our hearts.\u2019<\/i><\/p>\n\n<p><b>Isabelle M\u00fcller-Poth (Deputy Chair of the Staff Council)<\/b> says: <i>\u2018With this donation, we are recognising voluntary work in our region and offering concrete help where it is urgently needed.\u2019<\/i><\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<br\/><br\/>SaarLB, LBS, Landesbausparkasse Saar and the staff council will continue their social commitment in the future and support other charitable organisations in the German-French Greater Region.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><b><em><strong>Heroes for Hearts<\/strong><\/em><\/b><br\/><br\/>These are superheroes, princesses and many other characters who are dedicated to helping seriously ill children. They amaze young patients, bring smiles to their faces and give them courage: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heldenfuerherzen.de\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.heldenfuerherzen.de<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Pr\u00eate-moi tes ailes &#8211; Leih mir deine Fl\u00fcgel&#13;\n<\/em><\/strong><br\/><br\/>The association was founded by three friends, including Clotilde Jenoudet-Henrion, mother of a little boy with Down syndrome. The aim of Pr\u00eate-moi tes ailes is to bring families affected by cognitive disabilities, particularly Down syndrome, out of isolation through encounters and the sharing of resources: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prete-moi-tes-ailes.fr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.prete-moi-tes-ailes.fr<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><b><em><strong>Caritasverband f\u00fcr Saarbr\u00fccken und Umgebung e.V. \u2013 100 years of the railway station mission<\/strong><\/em><\/b><br\/><br\/>The railway station mission in Saarbr\u00fccken has been operating at the main station for 100 years. Especially in the cold season, it is a central point of contact for those in need to warm up.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Demenz-Verein im K\u00f6llertal e. V.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><br\/>This year, the association celebrates its 25th anniversary. With heart and mind, this association is committed to helping people with dementia. In addition, they are the point of contact for relatives and thus make valuable contributions to combating the shortage of skilled workers in the care sector.<\/p>\n\n<p><b><i>CBF Charity e.V<\/i><\/b>.<br\/><br\/>Our colleague Christian K\u00f6nig is the first chairman of this association. In addition to supporting non-profit and charitable organisations, the association also regularly helps people in need in the Saarland who, for a variety of reasons, require quick and unbureaucratic assistance.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Verein zur Pflege von Erde und Mensch e.V.&#13;\n<\/em><\/strong>We already supported this association last year. In 2025, a new project called \u2018A Roof in the Open Air\u2019 was launched for the Karcherhof day group, which we would like to support again. The association cares for young people and children who find themselves in difficult life situations. This year, a pavilion is to be built to provide outdoor care for the group.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG) Ortsgruppe Schwalbach e. V.&#13;\n<\/em><\/strong>The association is committed to protecting and rescuing people in emergency situations in the water. The diving group, which has been in existence since 2001, urgently needs new diving equipment in order to continue working effectively and safely.<\/p>\n\n<p><b><em><strong>WEISSER RING<\/strong><\/em><\/b><br\/><br\/>Non-profit association for the support of crime victims and the prevention of crime, Saarbr\u00fccken branch. It is responsible for the Saarbr\u00fccken regional association with approximately 330,000 inhabitants \u2013 which accounts for most of the crimes committed in the Saarland.
