Gunar Feth began his professional career in 1986 at Kreissparkasse Saarpfalz. He completed his professional training in 1996 by attending the Lehrinstitut für das kommunale Sparkassen- und Kreditwesen in Bonn [Bonn Teaching Institute for Municipal Savings Banks and Credit Institutions]. After holding various specialist and management positions, the Saarland native became the head of the Corporate Customers and Lending division in 1998 and also acted as a substitute member of the Board of Management from 1999 onwards. In 2005 he joined the Management Board of Kreissparkasse Saarpfalz and served as Chairman of the Management Board from 2010 onwards.
Finally, in 2014, he switched to SaarLB as General Representative and has been Deputy Chairman of our bank since 2015.

Gunar Feth chairs the Supervisory Board of SBT Immobiliengruppe in Saarbrucken and has been Chairman of the Collective Bargaining Committee of the Federal Association of Public Sector Banks (VÖB) since 2016, representing the member institutions of the employers’ association in collective bargaining negotiations.
